Short-term Study Abroad Programs
Under agreement for academic cooperation, Fukuoka University has been offering short-term (3~4 weeks) study abroad programs in cooperation with partner institutions in Korea, U.S.A. and Australia.
Fukuoka University students have enjoyed these programs coordinated by the host universities. They have also benefitted greatly from the high-quality language education as well as intercultural experiences with students and host families. Participants are selected for each program through examination (essay and a language proficiency test) and an interview. Subsidized (round trip travel) is provided to the participants by Fukuoka University.
University of Ulsan (South Korea)
- Duration: 3 weeks in August
- Application: Mid-late April
- Eligibility: The 1st ~3rd year undergraduates (The 4th year students of Medicine and Pharmacy may also apply.)
- Examinations: Essay (Japanese), Interview
Washburn University of Topeka (U.S.A.)
- Duration: 4 weeks from mid February to mid March
- Application: Mid-late September
- Eligibility: The 1st ~3rd year undergraduates (The 4th year students of Medicine and Pharmacy may also apply.)
- Examinations: English language proficiency test, Essay(Japanese), Interview
Griffith University (Australia)
- Duration: 4 weeks from mid February to mid March
- Application: Mid-late September
- Eligibility: The 1st ~3rd year undergraduates (The 4th year students of Medicine and Pharmacy may also apply.)
