Exchange Students from Sister Universities<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We regularly accept exchange students from our sister universities in the U.K., France, Belgium, Finland, China, South Korea, etc. for the purpose of studying Japanese. The exchange students participate in undergraduate regular courses as well as a special Japanese Language and Culture courses. They stay at Fukuoka University’s International House during their study program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undergraduate Course<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Students who have passed JLPT N2 level or higher are eligible to take the regular undergraduate courses offered at the faculty that the student has been enrolled in. After receiving the appropriate application, Fukuoka University will decide the faculty according to the student’s field of study at his \/ her home university.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Japanese Language and Culture Course for Exchange Students<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Center for International Programs offers a Japanese language and culture course for exchange students who have not fulfilled the language requirement of undergraduate program (JLPT N2 or higher). The course is divided into intermediate and advanced levels. Students will take a placement test at the beginning of semester.

The International House is the residence hall for undergraduate and graduate degree students as well as exchange students. The house accommodates both Japanese and non-Japanese residents. All residents live in a private room equipped with a bathroom (toilet), bed, wardrobe, desk and chair, refrigerator, air conditioner and the wired LAN network. There is a common kitchen, dining room and laundry room on each floor. Exchange students have priority to live in the House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
